Any Questions for Ryan about starting your business?

My name is Ryan Williams and I grew up in Campbell River, British Columbia, which is three and a half hours north of Victoria. In 2015 I applied for a job with Student Works to be a painter at the age of 19. I worked for a Franchisee by the name of Alec Drury, who went on that summer to beat the SWP rookie record – maybe it was because he had an awesome production manager! (wink). After seeing how successful Alec was I knew this was something that I had to do. The bar was set very high for me, but I was determined to beat his record. That summer I successfully produced 250,000 dollars of work and beat my former boss. I went on to produce 1,000,000 dollars worth of work over the four years that I ran a business in Campbell River. Student Works has forever changed my life and has opened my eyes to the fulfilment and benefits that are possible with running my own business.

I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to take on the role of District Manager of Vancouver Island. I cannot wait to work with the talented individuals in my assigned area, while helping them to achieve their own goals. I am also extremely excited to meet all of our new people and to watch them grow over the course of the summer. I am a very motivated individual and I cannot wait to use my knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm to support you with your business. In my spare time I love to do any kind of outdoor activity, but my main hobbies include mountain biking, skiing, surfing or socializing with friends. I look forward to seeing you all in Mexico!
