Congratulations for taking on an amazing challenge and welcome to your 2019 summer with Student Works! This summer will be both challenging and rewarding, and I am excited to be a part of it. I am one of two VP’s and have been with SWP West since 2008. I heard about SWP in my first year during a lecture when a clipboard was being passed around. I had always wanted to be compensated for the effort I put in and the results I created so I was eager to get the position. I operated my business in Richmond for eight consecutive years grossing over $1,100,000 in completed work during my time. Being a franchisee taught me everything from managing time, money, relationships, sales, marketing, problem solving and so on. After my sixth year I was fortunate enough to become a District Manager to a handful of people in Victoria while still running my business for two more years. In 2015 I became a full time DM and have been consistently working with 23-28 franchisees throughout BC and parts of Alberta. As a VP, I still work with 15 franchisees and will be assisting the other District Managers across Western Canada.
I still live in Richmond with my girlfriend and whenever I can, I spend time with friends and family, usually eating sushi. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to be able to do more of that over the past few years. I am a remarkably positive person and want each and every one of you to have a fantastic experience with Student Works. I am really looking forward to working with all of you this summer, and I cannot wait to see you in Mexico!
