Impossible to Fail

If you listen to your DM, put in the effort and follow the systems that are clearly laid out for you, it is nearly impossible to fail. Make a conscious effort to direct all of your work effectively.

To potential franchisees,

My name is Bryson Pawluk and I am a second year mechanical engineering student at UBC. This summer, I operated my business for the second year in Prince George, BC.

I was initially attracted to the idea of running my own business for a variety of reasons. Primarily, I relished the opportunity to do something I had never done before and to push myself to my limits in an environment that truly excited me.

I was told that Student Works would be the hardest thing I had ever done, and after completing my second summer I do not entirely agree. There will be plenty of 15 hour days, and you will have more responsibilities and people relying on you than any other time in your life, but when it comes right down to it Student Works is only as hard as you make it. Making a conscious effort to direct all of your work effectively will save you a huge amount of time and give you far more freedom as the summer progresses. What other job allows you take a three hour nap in the middle of the day? Take a seven day vacation to Mexico and still make more money than

This being said, being successful in Student Works does require an incredible amount of effort. Do not expect everything to fall into place by itself. However, if you listen to your DM, put in the effort and follow the systems that are clearly laid out for you, it is nearly impossible to fail.
