Better Leader, Friend, Boss

There is a ton that can be said about your summer with Student Works Painting. You will have some of the best moments of your life, and some of the worst. You will be ecstatically happy, and incredibly angry within the same day. Throughout the summer you will learn more about yourself then you ever thought possible. You will learn how to manage people and time as efficiently as possible, and how to be strict and forgiving at the same time. You will hire people, fire people, make some amazing friends, and learn life skills that will help you no matter where your future takes you.

My experience with Student Works turned a shy girl who refused to answer her phone into that annoying girl who greets people in the hallway. I have never been more aware of what a positive attitude can do to turn around a terrible week, as well as a negative attitude on a good one. I can honestly say that this experience has taught me how to be a better leader, friend, boss, and human being. This is a decision that you will never regret; no matter how frustrated you get, and I promise you will get frustrated. Your success this summer will not just depend on how much money you make, but how many life lessons you will learn in such a short period of time.
